About the Museum
ocated within the premises of the Hellenic Authority for Geological and Mineral Research (EAGME) in the Olympic Village of Acharnes, the National Geological Museum is dedicated to Earth Sciences and the unique geological heritage of Greece.
The museum offers visitors a fascinating journey through geological time, featuring:

-important collections of rocks, minerals and fossils,
-presentations on EAGME’s role in the study, protection and sustainable use of the country’s geological resources.

Guided Tours for Conference Participants
During the conference, the National Geological Museum will be open to all delegates with free admission. In addition, guided tours led by EAGME’s specialized staff will provide visitors with the opportunity to explore the museum’s collections and discover its most significant exhibits.
Participants wishing to attend one of the guided tours are kindly requested to register in advance, as the number of places per group is limited.
